Academic Qualifications:
First Class Honours Degree in Software Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University. This
degree encompassed a large proportion of theory relating to software design and the
engineering practices required to achieve the designs.
Additionally the final year required a detailed dissertation to be produced. Following
on from my experiences at Kodak I chose to study the middleware market, in particular
the rapid-development of system-to-system communication mechanisms.
The completed dissertation is available for download from this page.
Business experience:
Over four-years of experience in business-critical and shrink-wrapped software
design and development. This experience has encompassed both database, middleware and
Windows User Interface development and has been amassed through my employment at
Kodak Limited
and Business Objects.
