Before you say it, I know. Since everybody seems to have their CV online, what could possibly make mine more interesting then the rest?

To save you waiting for either Word or Acrobat to load I've summarised my skills and experiences below. This way you can make an informed decision whether you want to move that mouse-pointer and click.

For clarity this page does not include detailed information of my experiences nor the technologies to which I have been exposed. If you want that information please read my CV (see the links on the right-hand-side).

Academic Qualifications:
First Class Honours Degree in Software Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University. This degree encompassed a large proportion of theory relating to software design and the engineering practices required to achieve the designs.

Additionally the final year required a detailed dissertation to be produced. Following on from my experiences at Kodak I chose to study the middleware market, in particular the rapid-development of system-to-system communication mechanisms.

The completed dissertation is available for download from this page.

Business experience:
Over four-years of experience in business-critical and shrink-wrapped software design and development. This experience has encompassed both database, middleware and Windows User Interface development and has been amassed through my employment at Kodak Limited and Business Objects.

Technical language experience summary:
C/C++, ATL, COM, DCOM, UML, HTML, JavaScript, XML and XSLT, Java, C#, PL/SQL, SQL, OLAP, Perl, PHP and MFC.
